STUDY OF MAGNETIC FIELD IN HELMHOLTZ COIL ARRANGEMENT

  • Measurement of magnetic field strength along the Z - axis of a single coil.
  • Measurement of axial and radial components of magnetic field with radial distance from the axis r = 5, 10, 15 cm when the distance between the coils is equal to the coil radius in a Helmholtz coil arrangement.
  • Measure the Magnetic field along the Z- axis of the coils with r = 0 when the distance between them is a = R ( R= Radius of the coils) and when a > R , a < R.
