About Prof. H.C. Gupta

Prof. H.C.Gupta received his Ph.D. for the studies in “Lattice Dynamics of Metals : A Pseudopotential Approach” in 1972 from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He was recipient of Fulbright Fellowship (USEFI) and South-South Fellowship (TWAS). He is author of more than 180 national and international research papers, two books and supervised more than sixteen Ph.D. students. He is having wide range of administrative experience, for example, Director , NERIST(Itanagar), Dean of Students, Deputy Director Administration (DDA) and currently serving Head of the Department (HOD) in IIT Delhi. His current research Interests are thermal and Electrical Properties of Solids and Liquids, Molecular Dynamics of Low Dimensional Solids, Microwave Integrated Circuits.
